How To Find Out What Apple Subscriptions You Have

Open the App Store. Easy enough, right? It’s that familiar blue icon you probably tap daily.

Now, look for your profile icon. It's usually in the top right corner. Tap it!

A new screen will appear. See that "Subscriptions" option? Bingo! Tap it like you’re about to win a prize.

Prepare to be amazed. (Or mildly horrified.) This is where Apple keeps all your subscription secrets.

You'll see a list of your active and expired subscriptions. This is your moment of truth.

Unpopular opinion: Why can’t they just list the total amount I spend on subscriptions each month? Is that too much to ask?

Feeling adventurous? There's another path to subscription enlightenment. Let’s use the Settings app.

Scroll down until you find "iTunes & App Store." Tap it.

Then, tap your Apple ID at the very top. A pop-up will appear.

Choose "View Apple ID." You might need to authenticate with Face ID or your passcode.

Almost there! Scroll down (again!) and you'll find the "Subscriptions" option. Tap it. Same screen as before!

See? Multiple roads lead to Rome… or in this case, to your dwindling funds.

Okay, so you’ve found the list. Now what? Time for some tough choices.

Look closely at each subscription. Do you even remember downloading that app? Are you actually using it?

If the answer is no, then it’s time to bid farewell. Tap on the subscription and then tap "Cancel Subscription."

Unpopular opinion: They should make it even easier to cancel subscriptions. Like, one giant red button that says "GET ME OUT!"

Don’t worry; Apple usually gives you a warning. They want to make sure you really want to cancel. Stick to your guns!

Notice the "Expired" section? It's like a graveyard of forgotten free trials and impulse purchases.

You can't reactivate them from this screen, but it's a good reminder to be more careful next time.

Unpopular opinion: Free trials should automatically cancel unless I explicitly choose to continue. None of this sneaky auto-renewal stuff!
