He's also remarkably strong and resilient. Is that just Saiyan genes? Maybe, but I suspect more to it.
Remember, Goku spent his early years running wild. He wasn't exactly enrolled in kindergarten.

Living in the wild ages you differently. Think about dogs - they age faster than humans. The same could apply, in a way, to our Saiyan hero.
