How Not To Summon A Demon Lord Season 2 Characters

So, Season 2 of How Not to Summon a Demon Lord happened. We got new faces. Some were cool, some… less so.
The Good (ish) Bunch
Lumachina Weselia: The Unintentionally Hilarious Priestess
Okay, Lumachina is a walking disaster. But a well-meaning disaster! She’s so earnest and clumsy, you can’t help but chuckle. It’s like watching a kitten try to climb a curtain. You know it's going to end poorly, but you can't look away.
Horn: The Surprisingly Relatable Demon Girl
Horn is the kind of character who just wants to be accepted. She's strong, but also insecure. Who hasn't felt that way before? She definitely deserved more screen time.
Must Read
Chester Ray Galford: The Dude Who Tries
Chester… bless his heart. He's trying so hard to be a competent knight. He's not exactly Diablo level powerful, but he shows up. He’s basically the audience insert character.
The "Meh" Category
Batutta: The Muscle (and Not Much Else)
Batutta is big. Batutta is strong. Batutta… doesn't do much besides stand around and look intimidating. He's like a cardboard cutout with muscles. Sorry, Batutta fans (if any exist!).

Fanis Laminitus: The Slightly Annoying Elf
Fanis is fine. Just… fine. She's another elf archer. We've seen it all before. Nothing particularly stands out, and that makes her a little forgettable, right?
The Unpopular Opinions Zone
Rose: The Problematic Robot Maid
Alright, here we go. I'm just going to say it. Rose is kinda… creepy. Her whole deal with Diablo feels off. I just never really warmed up to her constant need to be "useful."

Shera L. Greenwood and Rem Galleu: Are They Just There?
Hear me out! Shera and Rem felt a bit… sidelined this season. It felt like they lost some of their personality. I miss their antics, their drive, and their importance to Diablo's journey.
The One We Can All Agree On
Diablo: Still the Overpowered Edgelord We Love (to Mock)
Look, Diablo is ridiculous. He's overpowered. He's awkward. But that's why we love him! He's the perfect embodiment of the isekai power fantasy, turned up to eleven. He's consistently hilarious, even when he's trying to be serious.
So, that’s my take on the Season 2 characters. Agree? Disagree? Let's argue about it! Because what's the point of anime if not to have strong opinions about fictional characters?
