How Much Episodes Are In Tokyo Revengers

Okay, let's talk Tokyo Revengers. How many episodes are we talking, total? Seems like a simple question, right?
Wrong! It’s a rabbit hole. A time-leaping, gang-fighting, emotional-rollercoaster of a rabbit hole.
Season 1: The Gateway Drug
The first season? Easy peasy. That's 24 episodes. You breezed through it, didn't you? Of course, you did! Who could resist Takemichi's crying face and desperate attempts to save Hina?
Must Read
Those 24 episodes set the stage. We met Mikey, Draken, and all the colorful members of Toman. Good times (mostly).
Season 2: Cold as Ice (and Not in a Good Way)
Season 2, the “Christmas Showdown” arc. This one’s only 13 episodes. Felt shorter, didn’t it?
Maybe because it was…intense. This season covers a dark and, frankly, depressing arc. All that heartbreak, for only 13 episodes!

Season 3: The Tenjiku Arc - The Latest Offering
Then came Season 3. The “Tenjiku” arc. Also 13 episodes.
Another rollercoaster! Just when you thought things couldn't get worse for Takemichi, BAM! New villains, new timelines, same existential dread.
So, What's the Grand Total?
Add it all up: 24 + 13 + 13. That makes a grand total of 50 episodes. Fifty episodes of time-leaping chaos!

But wait! Is that it? Is the journey really over? The manga’s done, but what about more animated goodness?
The Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves!)
Here's where things get spicy. I think Tokyo Revengers should have ended sooner. Gasp!
Hear me out! The first season was lightning in a bottle. The stakes were clear, the characters were compelling, and the emotional payoff was HUGE.

But after that? It felt...stretched. More time leaps, more convoluted plots, more characters that were hard to keep track of. Did we really need another gang war?
Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed it. But at some point, the time-leaping gimmick felt less like a brilliant plot device and more like a narrative crutch.
Sometimes, less is more. Maybe 36-40 episodes would have been the sweet spot. Leave us wanting more, instead of feeling slightly fatigued.

Before you @ me, this is just one humble anime fan's opinion. Maybe you loved every single one of those 50 episodes. And that’s totally valid!
Where do we go from here?
Whether you think it was the perfect length or should have been shorter, we can all agree on one thing: Tokyo Revengers was a wild ride.
Who knows, maybe there will be some movie adaptation of the final arcs? Maybe a spin-off series focusing on Mikey's back story? We can only dream!
For now, 50 episodes are all we have, and we can always re-watch it!
