How Many Volumes Of Mob Psycho 100 Are There

Okay, let's talk Mob Psycho 100. You love it, I love it, my grandma probably loves it (if she knew what anime was).
So, How Many Volumes ARE We Talking?
This is the million-dollar question, isn't it? The answer is a cool 16 volumes. Yep, sixteen books packed with psychic powers and questionable fashion choices.
But here's where things get interesting. Sixteen volumes... is that really enough? I mean, Reigen deserved like, at least 10 more volumes dedicated solely to his con artistry.
Must Read
The Manga Math (and My Unpopular Opinion)
Sixteen sounds like a good number. Round, divisible, totally acceptable. But let's be real. We could have easily squeezed out a few more.
Imagine a volume dedicated to the Spirits and Such Consulting office finding a decent office plant. Or Mob finally figuring out how to talk to Tsubomi without sweating profusely.
I'm just saying, missed opportunities! Don't @ me.

Spin-Off City! (Almost)
Thankfully, ONE, the amazing creator of Mob Psycho 100, didn't leave us completely hanging. We got the spin-off manga, Reigen.
It's a single volume. But it's glorious. More Reigen is always a good thing, obviously. He’s practically a national treasure.
Think of it as the perfect little appetizer after the main course of the original 16 volumes.

Could There Have Been More? (Yes. Always Yes.)
Let's be honest, we all wanted more Mob Psycho 100. More crazy espers, more awkward Mob moments, more Reigen doing Reigen things.
Imagine a whole volume dedicated to Dimple's increasingly bizarre possession attempts. Or maybe one where Ritsu actually cracks and becomes the ultimate villain (just kidding... mostly).
The possibilities are endless! Someone call ONE. (Please?)

Sixteen is the Official Answer (But My Heart Wants More)
So, officially, the answer is 16 volumes of the main series. And one glorious volume of Reigen.
But in my heart, there are at least five more volumes waiting to be written. Filled with bizarre side quests and existential crises.
Is it just me, or did anyone else want to see a Mob Psycho 100 cooking competition episode?

The Final Verdict: Enough, But Never Enough
Look, I get it. All good things must come to an end. Mob Psycho 100 had a fantastic run.
Sixteen volumes is a respectable number. It tells a complete story, wraps up most of the loose ends (except maybe the whole Tsubomi thing, which is probably for the best).
But still. I'm standing by my unpopular opinion: we deserved more.
At least one volume of Mob trying to learn how to ride a bike.Don't you agree?
