How Many Volumes Of Dr Stone Are There

Okay, let's get straight to the point. How many volumes of Dr. Stone are there? The answer is... tricky!
The Official Answer (and why I roll my eyes)
Officially, the Dr. Stone manga concluded with 26 volumes. Yep, twenty-six whole books of science-fueled adventures. Seems straightforward, right?
But here's where my "unpopular opinion" alarm starts blaring. Twenty-six volumes? That's it?
Must Read
My (Slightly Mad) Opinion
Look, I loved Dr. Stone. It was like a science class I actually wanted to attend. All those petrification puns? Genius!
But 26 volumes just doesn't feel... enough. It's like finishing a delicious cake and realizing there's no frosting.
I'm not saying the ending was bad. It was a decent conclusion. I just wanted more.

The "Lost" Volumes: My Fan-Fiction Dreams
In my head, there are at least five "lost" volumes of Dr. Stone. Maybe even ten! Think of all the possibilities!
Senku could have discovered even more insane applications of science. Imagine a flying car powered by static electricity! Or a self-folding laundry system! (Okay, maybe that's just my wishful thinking.)
And what about the other characters? We could have seen more of Chrome's inventions. More Ruri village stories!

Spin-offs? Don't mind if I do!
Seriously, give me a Dr. Stone spin-off following Suika on a scientific expedition. Or one detailing Ryusui's economic empire.
Or even a prequel about Senku's dad and his space station adventures! The possibilities are endless.
So, How Many Really Are There?
While the "official" answer is 26, in my heart, the number is much higher. It's an evolving number!

Every time I re-read the series, I imagine new stories, new inventions, and new adventures for the Kingdom of Science. Thus, the number grows.
Therefore, according to me, there are at least... oh, let's say 26+ infinity volumes of Dr. Stone. And who's to say I'm wrong?
Maybe I'm just being greedy. Maybe I need to accept that all good things must come to an end. But I refuse!

"Science is never-ending!,"Senku would shout. And I, for one, completely agree. More Dr. Stone! Always!
So, the next time someone asks me how many volumes there are, I'll just smile mysteriously and say, "More than you think."
And secretly, in my head, I'll be writing volume 27.
