The Flash-Forward Fatigue

Seriously, how many times did we jump to the future just to see everyone slightly older and wiser? It became a bit predictable, didn't it?

I started seeing those flash forwards as bathroom break opportunities. Maybe that's just me!

I wanted more depth in the present, more exploration of the immediate consequences of their choices.

Don't Get Me Wrong, I'm a Fan!

Despite my slightly controversial opinion, I adore This Is Us. The acting is phenomenal. The characters are relatable (even when they're making questionable decisions).

It's a show that makes you think about family, loss, and the messy beauty of life. But at times, it just felt like it was trying too hard to extend its run.
