These were golden! Anderson Cooper was fantastic. We had classic sabotage and iconic reveals.
Season one. Absolute perfection. No notes!
The others were good too. Except...they started getting weird.
The Celebrity Season... Ahem
Okay, I'm just gonna say it: the celebrity season felt off. Something was just… missing.
Maybe it was the stakes? Hard to care about celebrities losing "their" money. Just my opinion, of course.
It just didn't have the same bite.
The Reboot
Netflix brought it back! New host. New players. New continent!
It was fine. Perfectly watchable. But did it capture the magic of the first season?

Hear me out! It’s not about quality (entirely). It's about feeling.
The original seasons 1, 2, and maybe 3? Those are The Mole. Anderson Cooper era. That's the core.
The rest? Spin-offs in my book. Fun, maybe. But not The Mole in its purest form.
Think of it like this: Star Wars. Are the prequels really Star Wars? Discuss.
It's a hot take, I know. But I stand by it.
So, How Many Seasons Do I Count?
Three. Maybe four if I'm feeling generous and had a particularly good day.
The first three are chef's kiss. Masterful television.
The Anderson Cooper seasons are truly the best. Change my mind (you won't).

Will there be more seasons? Who knows!
Would I watch them? Probably. I'm a sucker for the intrigue. And the paranoia.
