How Many Seasons Of One Punch Man Are On Crunchyroll

Okay, let's talk One Punch Man. Specifically, how much Saitama goodness is readily available on Crunchyroll.
Seems like a straightforward question, right? But sometimes, the answer isn't as clear-cut as Saitama's shiny head.
The Obvious Answer (Or Is It?)
Most people would probably say there are two seasons of One Punch Man on Crunchyroll.
Must Read
And, technically, they aren’t wrong. Season 1 features that killer animation. Season 2… well, it exists.
But that's where things get a little… complicated.
My (Possibly Unpopular) Opinion
Here's where I might lose some of you. I’m going to argue that there's really only one true season of One Punch Man.
Before you grab your pitchforks, hear me out! It's all about that animation quality.

Let's be real, the animation style took a serious nosedive in season two. I found it hard to enjoy Genos fighting when he didn’t look as cool!
Let's Talk Animation (or Lack Thereof)
Season 1 was a visual masterpiece. Every punch was impactful. Every character design was sharp. Madhouse did an incredible job!
Then came season 2. Different studio. Different… everything, apparently.
The fights felt less dynamic. Characters looked a little off. It just didn’t capture the same magic.

So, Is It Two Seasons or One?
Crunchyroll officially lists two seasons. That’s a fact.
But in my heart (and maybe yours?), only the first season truly embodies the spirit of One Punch Man.
I get it. Animation is expensive, and production schedules are tight. But the change was noticeable. And a little heartbreaking.
Don't Get Me Wrong...
I still watched season 2! I love the characters, and the story is still engaging.

And Garou is a great villain. His arc is incredibly interesting.
It just didn’t quite live up to the visual standard set by season one.
The Final Verdict (For Me, Anyway)
Officially, there are two seasons of One Punch Man available on Crunchyroll.
But in my world, there's one incredible season and one season with… room for improvement.

Maybe season 3 will bring back the magic. I’m keeping my fingers crossed (and re-watching season 1 for the tenth time)!
What do you think? Am I being too harsh? Let me know!
Ultimately, it boils down to this: watch and enjoy the series.
Form your own opinions. Discover your favorite characters and moments.
And if you find yourself only re-watching season one? Well, I won't judge.
Saitama would probably just shrug and go buy some groceries.
