How Many Seasons Of Jujutsu Kaisen Are There

Okay, let's talk Jujutsu Kaisen. Specifically, how many seasons are there?

The "official" answer is easy. You can find it anywhere. But do we really accept that?

The "Official" Answer (Boooring!)

Everyone says there are only two seasons. Plus a movie. We all know about Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

Season one introduced us to Yuji Itadori. We met Gojo Satoru, the coolest sensei ever. And learned about cursed spirits, of course.

Season two? Well, that nearly broke the internet. The Shibuya Incident was intense. Poor Nanami!

Okay, here's where I might lose some of you. But I think season two is actually two seasons in disguise.

This arc is basically a flashback. We see Gojo and Geto as students. It's almost a completely different vibe.

It's like a prequel shoved into the middle of the main story. Plus, it ends on such a huge downer. The tone shift is enormous!

Doesn't that feel like a natural season break? It does to me.

Then boom, Shibuya happens. Absolute chaos. Non-stop action. Character deaths galore.

This arc is so long and dense. It has its own distinct story arc. It totally felt like a separate season.

I mean, couldn't they have released the Gojo's Past arc one year, and Shibuya Incident the next?

We got new opening and ending themes between the two arcs. New key visuals, too.

Studios sometimes split seasons like this, right? It’s not unheard of.

Maybe they just wanted to give us all that goodness at once. Bless their souls!

Officially? Two. And I’ll concede that point. Barely.

But in my heart (and on my rewatch list), there are three. Season one, the Gojo & Geto flashback, and the Shibuya Incident.

And hey, Season 3 (or 4?) is on the way! The manga is amazing. The adaptation will probably be epic.

Who knows, maybe the next season will be so big, they'll split it in half too! Then we can argue about whether that's two seasons.

Ultimately, it doesn't really matter, does it? We just want more Jujutsu Kaisen! Now, where's my cursed energy drink?
