How Many Seasons Does My Hero Academia Have

Okay, let’s talk My Hero Academia. Specifically, how many seasons this show actually has.
Because honestly? I have feelings. Maybe controversial ones. But let’s dive in.
The "Official" Count
So, the "official" answer is… six? Six seasons. We've watched Deku and friends grow from wide-eyed hopefuls to… slightly less wide-eyed, still hopeful, but definitely battle-scarred heroes.
Must Read
These seasons cover a ton of ground. From the Entrance Exam Arc to the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, it's been a wild ride. Lots of screaming, lots of PLUS ULTRA, and lots of tears (mostly mine).
But Here's My Problem...
Six feels… insufficient. Like, we've been through so much! And some seasons? They feel longer than others. Am I right?
Maybe it's the way the arcs are structured. Or the sheer volume of content crammed into each season. It's a lot to process.
My Unpopular Opinion: It's More Like...
I'm just gonna say it. In my heart? My Hero Academia has way more than six seasons. At least ten! Okay, maybe not ten officially, but thematically? Absolutely!

Think about it. Each major arc? Could easily be its own season. The Sports Festival alone deserves its own season. All that training! All that drama!
And the Overhaul Arc? Gut-wrenching! Dark! Definitely worthy of its own dedicated season of emotional turmoil.
Let's Break It Down (In My Head)
Here's how I see it (and feel free to disagree, I'm ready for the internet outrage):
Season 1: Introduction to Deku, UA High, and basic hero training.

Season 2: The Sports Festival. Need I say more?
Season 3: Internship with Gran Torino and Hero Killer Stain Arc.
Season 4: The End of Term Test Arc + Forest Training Camp Arc (Season 3 part 2!)
Season 5: Hideout Raid Arc and the fallout. Big changes!
Season 6: Provisional Hero License Exam Arc. Because it's a whole vibe.

Season 7: Shie Hassaikai Arc. Overhaul? Nightmares!
Season 8: School Festival Arc (a breather before the storm).
Season 9: Joint Training Battle Arc. Class 1-A versus 1-B! The ultimate showdown (kind of).
Season 10: Meta Liberation Army Arc and Paranormal Liberation War Arc parts 1 & 2. Total chaos!

Okay, I'm Exaggerating (Maybe)
Fine, I know. I'm stretching the definition of "season." But the point is: so much happens! It feels like we're constantly starting a new chapter, a new era for our heroes.
Each arc brings fresh challenges, new villains, and deeper dives into the characters we love (and love to hate).
"PLUS ULTRA!" - Everyone, all the time.
So, while the "official" count might be six, in my heart, My Hero Academia is a sprawling epic. It has many mini-seasons contained within each bigger season.
And honestly? That's why I love it. Because there's always more to discover, more to analyze, and more to obsess over.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go re-watch the Sports Festival. Again.
