How Many Nfl Games Are On Tv Today

Okay, let's be real. It's Sunday. So, how many NFL games are actually on TV today?
The answer, my friend, is probably: too many. Is that an unpopular opinion? Maybe.
The Sunday Football Flood
Seriously, you flip on the TV and BOOM! Football. Everywhere. It's like the networks are actively trying to prevent you from doing anything else.
Must Read
Early games, late games, games in between games... it's a never-ending waterfall of pigskin.
I love football, don't get me wrong. But sometimes, I think, "Is this my entire day now?"
The Illusion of Choice
They give you "options." RedZone! Local broadcast! The "other" game!
But is it really a choice if all roads lead to... more football? It's a conspiracy, I tell you!

My partner says I'm being dramatic. They are probably right. But still...
Is It Too Much, Though?
Let's be honest. Do you really need to watch every single snap of every single game? Probably not.
I'm not saying don't watch football. Just maybe consider taking a walk. Or reading a book. Or, you know, talking to your family. (Gasp!)
They might not even realize there's football on. That's a win in itself!

RedZone: The Ultimate Enabler
Don't even get me started on RedZone. It's like someone distilled pure, unadulterated football chaos into a single channel.
It’s perfect for those who crave constant action. It is also terrible for those who value their sanity.
I find myself screaming at the TV even when my team isn't playing. It's that intense.
The Monday Night Miracle (and Thursday, and...)
Oh, you thought Sunday was the end? Think again! We now have Thursday Night Football! And Monday Night Football!
Soon, they'll figure out how to broadcast games on Tuesday and Wednesday. My weekends will become one endless football void.

I'm just bracing myself for the year-round football league. Maybe I should start learning how to punt.
My Unpopular Opinion
Here it is: I think there are too many NFL games on TV. Okay? I said it. Judgement is welcomed.
I appreciate the athleticism. I love the strategy. But my couch cushions are starting to wear thin.
Perhaps a little less football, a little more…balance? Just a thought.

So, How Many Games ARE On?
Realistically, on a typical Sunday, you're looking at at least a dozen NFL games being broadcast across various networks.
Add in RedZone, pre-game shows, post-game analyses, and highlight reels, and it's basically 24/7 football coverage.
My plea is: Let’s find a happy medium. Because sometimes, I just want to watch literally anything else. Anyone else with me?
Unless, of course, my team is playing. Then, all bets are off.
