How Many Men In Black Movies Are There

Okay, let's talk Men in Black. You know, those cool secret agents? The ones with the awesome shades and neuralyzers?

How many movies are there, really? This is where things get a little...complicated. And maybe where I'll make some enemies.

The "Official" Count (and My Objection)

Officially, they say there are four Men in Black movies. Four whole films dedicated to protecting Earth from alien scum.

We've got the original Men in Black. Classic. Agent J and Agent K, a perfect duo.

Then came Men in Black II. It was... a movie. Remember the singing alien?

After that, we saw Men in Black 3. Time travel! Josh Brolin doing a spot-on young Agent K. Pretty decent, right?

And finally, there's Men in Black: International. With Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. Set in London!

Here's my unpopular opinion: that last one? It barely counts. Honestly, I almost forget it exists.

It felt... different. Lacking that Men in Black charm. Maybe it's just me.

So, in my head, there are only three true Men in Black movies.

The original trilogy. Those are the ones that feel like they belong together. The ones I happily rewatch.

I know, I know. Technically, Men in Black: International is part of the franchise.

But does it feel like it? I think not! For me, it's more like a spin-off experiment.

Look, I'm not saying it's a bad movie. Just... not essential Men in Black viewing.

It's like that one sequel everyone tries to forget. You know the one I mean!

We all have those movies we pretend don't exist in our favorite franchises. It's a normal thing.

So, if you ask me, and you kind of did by reading this, there are three Men in Black movies.

Three excellent films about aliens, secrets, and snappy suits. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

Besides, isn't it better to have a strong trilogy than a slightly diluted quadrilogy? Quality over quantity, people!
