How Many Episodes Will Jjba Stone Ocean Have

Okay, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fans, let's talk.
Specifically, let's talk about Stone Ocean. And even more specifically, how many episodes it really needed.
The Stone Ocean Episode Count: An "Unpopular" Opinion
Here's the thing: I'm about to say something potentially controversial.
Must Read
Stone Ocean, while good (I said GOOD, not perfect!), could have been... shorter.
Gasp! I know. But hear me out.
Was it Too Much?
Netflix split Stone Ocean into three parts. A whopping 38 episodes in total!
That's a lot of Jolyne, a lot of Weather Report, and a whole heck of a lot of Pucci.
Did we need all that? I'm not entirely convinced.
Look, David Production did an amazing job animating Araki's vision.

But sometimes, quantity doesn't equal quality. You feel me?
Some arcs felt like they dragged a bit. Like, a really long bit.
My "Expert" (Totally Not Expert) Opinion
Okay, here's my completely unscientific, purely emotional assessment.
I think Stone Ocean could have been tightened up. Maybe around 30-32 episodes?
Cut some of the less essential Stand battles. Streamline the pacing a tad.
Focus on the core story. Jolyne's journey, her relationship with Jotaro, and the ultimate showdown with Enrico Pucci.
Think of it like this: fewer episodes, more impact. Boom!

Why This is Probably Wrong (But I Still Believe It)
Of course, I know why it's 38 episodes. It's based on the manga. They adapt it as faithfully as possible.
And I respect that! I truly do!
But as a viewer, sometimes I just wanted things to move... a little faster.
Maybe I'm just impatient. Maybe I have a short attention span.
Maybe I'm just secretly a Stand user with a time-manipulating ability who wants to skip ahead.
Who knows?
What I do know is that Stone Ocean, while enjoyable, felt a little stretched.

The Bright Side (Because There Always Is One)
Even with its length, Stone Ocean had some incredible moments.
Jolyne is a fantastic protagonist. Her growth throughout the series is amazing to watch.
And the ending? Oh man, the ending is something else.
Plus, we got more of characters like Ermes Costello and Foo Fighters.
Can we ever really have too much F.F.? The answer is a resounding no!
So, What's the "Right" Number?
Ultimately, the "right" number of episodes is subjective.
Some people loved every single minute of Stone Ocean.

Others, like me, might have preferred a slightly more concise version.
Regardless, we can all agree on one thing: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is awesome.
Even when it's a little... long.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch my favorite Stone Ocean moments. (Probably skipping a few of the less exciting bits.)
Don't judge me!
And remember, this is just one (potentially unpopular) opinion. Don't let it ruin your JoJo enjoyment!
Ora ora ora!
