How Many Episodes Season 12 Big Bang Theory

So, How Many Episodes of The Big Bang Theory Season 12 Were There, Anyway?
Okay, let's talk Big Bang Theory. Specifically, the final season. Season 12. Remember it? It feels like ages ago, right?
I'm talking about the one that wrapped everything up. The season that finally answered all those burning questions. Or, at least, tried to.
The Big Reveal (It's Not That Shocking)
Ready for the big number? Drumroll please… Season 12 had a grand total of 24 episodes. Yep, just like most of the other seasons.
Must Read
Surprised? Maybe not. But still, 24 episodes is a lot of Sheldon Cooper in one go. Especially when he's being extra... Sheldon-y.
Think about it. That's 24 opportunities for Bazingas. 24 opportunities for awkward social interactions. And 24 opportunities for Penny to roll her eyes in the most endearing way possible.
Unpopular Opinion Time: Season 12 Was… Fine?
Okay, here's where I might lose some of you. I actually didn't hate Season 12. In fact, dare I say, I enjoyed it? Just a bit?

Look, I know, I know. Some people think it went downhill. Some think the writing wasn't as sharp. But hear me out.
I think it’s better to have that many episodes wrap up a show properly than have it get cancelled on a cliff hanger.
Why 24 Episodes Worked (For Me, At Least)
Twenty-four episodes gave us time to say goodbye. Time to see the characters grow and change. Time to (finally!) see some resolution for everyone.

We got to see Sheldon and Amy win the Nobel Prize. Bernadette and Howard continued to be the most adorably relatable parents ever. And Penny and Leonard… well, they stayed Penny and Leonard. Which is exactly what we wanted, right?
Plus, those cameos! Mark Hamill! William Shatner! Okay, maybe the guest stars were a little over-the-top at times. But still, fun!
But Let's Be Real, It Wasn't Perfect
Of course, Season 12 wasn't without its flaws. Some storylines felt rushed. Some jokes fell flat. And some character arcs felt a little… forced.

Remember that whole thing with Raj and Anu? Yeah, let's just pretend that didn't happen. It was a bit of a miss. Poor Raj.
And let's not even get started on the debate over whether or not the ending was satisfying. Everyone has their own opinion on that one.
So, Was It Worth It?
Despite its flaws, I think Season 12 was a decent ending to a beloved show. Was it the best season ever? No. But did it give us a sense of closure? I think so.

Twenty-four episodes to say goodbye to Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, Howard, Bernadette, Amy, and Raj. To a show that brought so many laughs (and a few tears) over the years.
So, yeah. 24 episodes. Not too many, not too few. Just enough to give us one last "Bazinga!"
"It all started with a Big Bang!"
