It barely lets us get to know the characters. We’re just starting to appreciate Dwight's weirdness. Then, boom! It's over.

I know, I know, some people say it's perfect as it is. A concise, brilliantly awkward introduction. But I crave more!

The pilot episode is... well, it's a bit rough. It’s a direct adaptation of the British version. Which isn't always a good thing.

Michael is trying a little too hard to be David Brent. The jokes sometimes fall flat. It's like they haven’t quite found their groove yet.

Maybe an entire episode dedicated to a paper jam? Or a sales competition gone horribly wrong? My mind races with the potential.

I feel we needed to sink our teeth into the first series to fully appreciate the show.

The Binge-Watching Dilemma

Now, I love a good binge-watch. But Season 1 goes by in a flash. One bathroom break and you’ve practically missed half the season!

You barely have time to refill your popcorn. It’s like a cruel joke played by NBC. A tiny, delicious, but ultimately unsatisfying appetizer.
