Because, confession time: I think there should have been more episodes. Unpopular opinion? Probably. But hear me out.

The Official Answer (and My Discontent)

Officially, Season 3 of The Bay clocks in at 6 episodes. Six! Six glorious episodes filled with drama, love triangles, and questionable life choices.

But, six feels…short. Like a summer romance that ends way too soon. Like when they run out of your favorite ice cream flavor.

Don't get me wrong, those six episodes were packed. They were bursting with the kind of soapy goodness that keeps you hitting "next episode" until 3 AM. Still...six? Really?

My Episode Wishlist (Hear Me Out!)

I’m not saying the writers did a bad job. Far from it! But imagine just a few more episodes. Think of the possibilities!

We could have delved deeper into some of the side characters. Given them their own mini-arcs to shine. More Pete Garrett screen time, anyone?

More awkward family dinners! More dramatic confrontations on the beach! More of Kristos Andrews' brooding stares into the ocean! (Okay, maybe that last one is just me).

Alternative Universes and Extended Seasons

In a perfect world, The Bay Season 3 would have been at least 10 episodes. Ten episodes of sun-drenched soap opera perfection.

Ten episodes to really let the storylines breathe. To explore every possible romantic entanglement. To truly savor the drama.

Maybe in some alternate universe, that's exactly what happened. Maybe there's a parallel dimension where The Bay seasons are endless. And everyone gets a happy ending. (Except maybe the villains. They still deserve to be miserable).

So, am I the only one who feels this way? Am I the only one who thinks six episodes just wasn't enough Bay City magic?

Probably not. I bet there are other fans out there who felt the same pang of disappointment when the season ended. Who longed for just a little bit more.
