We all want more, right? More Superman flying around, more Lois Lane being awesome, and more Jonathan and Jordan dealing with teenage angst mixed with Kryptonian powers.

Season 1 gave us a solid 15 episodes. Not bad at all! We got to know the Kent family in their new (old) surroundings. Plus, plenty of super-villain action!

My Unpopular Opinion: Quality Over Quantity (Sort Of)
Okay, here's where I might lose some of you. I think shorter seasons can be a good thing. Hear me out! Sometimes, less filler means a tighter, more focused story.
No one wants episodes where nothing happens. We've all been there, right? The dreaded "bottle episode" that just drags on and on.
But… (and it's a big but!) thirteen episodes just felt too short. Especially for a show with so much potential.
Season 4: The Final Countdown
Season 4 is coming! It is happening for sure. But here's the kicker.
It is set to have a mere 10 episodes. Ten?! That's barely enough time to say "Kryptonite!"
It's the final season. But also, the shortest. Talk about a mixed bag of emotions, huh?
So, Why the Episode Cuts?
Budgets, scheduling conflicts, creative decisions… It could be anything. The entertainment industry is a mysterious beast.
The CW shows have been seeing shorter seasons overall. It is the trend that is going on with the broadcasting stations.
Maybe they are trying to leave us wanting more. Or maybe they are just trying to save a buck. Who knows?!
My Plea to the Writers
Whatever the reason, I have one request. Please, Superman & Lois writers, make those 10 episodes count! Give us an epic conclusion!
No loose ends! Wrap up those storylines! And for goodness sake, let Superman actually fly a few times!
Because frankly, we deserve it. After sticking with you through thick and thin (and shorter and shorter seasons!).

So, to answer the original question: as of right now, there are 43 episodes of Superman & Lois. With 10 more on the way. The series finale should bring it to 53 episodes.
Is it enough? Probably not. Will we binge-watch them all anyway? Absolutely!
Because even with its flaws, Superman & Lois is still a fantastic show. And who can resist a good superhero story? Especially one with a heartwarming family at its core.
Final Thoughts (and a Tiny Rant)
I just wish they'd given us a little more. A few extra episodes to savor the story. A few more scenes of Lois Lane kicking butt.
But hey, at least we got what we got. And hopefully, those 10 final episodes will be a super-powered sendoff. We will remember the show well!
