How Many Episodes Of Season 10 American Horror Story

Okay, let's talk about American Horror Story, or AHS, for those in the know. Specifically, season 10. And even more specifically, how many episodes it had.
Remember Double Feature?
Season 10 was called Double Feature. A clever name, right? Two stories in one season. Sounds promising.
That’s because one half, Red Tide, took place by the sea. The other, Death Valley, took us to the desert. Aliens and vampires? What more could we ask for?
Must Read
So, How Many Episodes Were There?
Here's the deal. Season 10 had ten episodes total. Five for Red Tide. And five for Death Valley. Simple, right?
But here’s where my possibly unpopular opinion comes in. I think it should have been more. Hear me out!
Five episodes each? It felt rushed. We barely got to know the characters before… well, you know, AHS happened.

Red Tide: Could Have Been Longer
Red Tide was great. A struggling writer, a creepy town, and mysterious pills. I was hooked from the start.
But just as things got interesting, BAM! It was over. More episodes could have explored the town's history more. We could have seen more character development!
Imagine more scenes with Evan Peters being, well, Evan Peters. More Frances Conroy being wonderfully weird. The possibilities were endless!
More Episodes, Please!
Don't get me wrong, the ending was…an ending. But I felt like there was so much potential left untapped. More blood, more drama, more everything!

Another two or three episodes dedicated to Red Tide would have been perfect. It would have allowed the story to breathe.
Death Valley: Deserved More Time
Now, onto Death Valley. Aliens, conspiracies, and Sarah Paulson in a truly wild role. What's not to love?
Well, again, the pacing felt off. We jumped between the past and present. Characters made questionable decisions.
With more episodes, the show could have fleshed out the alien mythology. They could have explained the government cover-up better. And maybe, just maybe, given that ending a little more…oomph.

A Missed Opportunity?
It felt like Death Valley crammed a whole season's worth of story into five episodes. That left me a bit disappointed.
Perhaps a few extra episodes could have explored the alien-human hybrid storyline better. More Lily Rabe alien-mom drama? Yes, please!
More episodes would have allowed for better character development. Plus, we could have seen a more satisfying conclusion to the conspiracy storyline.
The Verdict: More Is More!
So, ten episodes of AHS: Double Feature. Five for each story. But, in my humble opinion, it wasn't enough.

Both Red Tide and Death Valley had so much potential. They just needed a little more room to grow.
Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm greedy. But I always think, "More American Horror Story is always better." Right?
Okay, maybe not always. But in this case, I truly believe it. Give me more AHS! Especially when it features aliens, vampires, and killer pills!
So, while season 10 had ten episodes, I'm holding out hope for future seasons with a few more. Because, let's be honest, we can never get enough Ryan Murphy madness.
