Ten episodes of reliving the '90s. Ten episodes of questionable fashion choices. And ten episodes of feeling slightly uncomfortable during family viewing.

I know, right? It feels like it should have been fewer. Maybe like, a tight, well-edited six?
Don't get me wrong, the acting was great. Sarah Paulson? Always amazing. But did we really need ten hours of it?
Unpopular Opinion Alert!
Here's where I might lose some of you. I think it could have been shorter. There, I said it!
Maybe I’m just impatient. Or maybe my attention span is shorter than a goldfish. Whatever the reason, ten felt… excessive.
Look, I get it. It was a complex situation. Lots of players, lots of angles. But at a certain point, I started feeling like I was watching the same scene over and over.
Monica feeling vulnerable. Bill feeling… Bill-like. The media going wild. Rinse and repeat.
Did we really need multiple episodes of Linda Tripp's makeover? I mean, come on!
The Case for Brevity
Imagine a world where Impeachment was a lean, mean, six-episode machine. No filler, all killer.
We could have gotten the key plot points. The dramatic tension. The questionable decisions. All without the feeling of being trapped in a '90s time warp.
Think of all the things we could have done with those extra four hours! Binge another show? Finally clean out that closet? Learn to knit?
Don't Get Me Wrong (Again)
I'm not saying it was bad. It was well-acted. It was well-produced. It was… long.
And I know some people loved every single minute. They hung on every word, every glance, every awkward encounter in the Oval Office. More power to them!
But for me, less is often more. Especially when it comes to scandal-adjacent TV dramas.
So, What's the Verdict?
Ten episodes is the official answer. But in my humble opinion, six would have been chef's kiss perfect.
Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm destined to be a lone voice crying out in the wilderness of pop culture criticism.
But hey, at least I got that off my chest. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go find something shorter to watch. Maybe a cat video?
