Okay, let's talk about High-Rise Invasion. You know, the anime with the masks and the skyscrapers?

So, How Many Episodes Are There?

The big question! It's pretty straightforward: There are 12 episodes in the first (and so far, only) season. Easy peasy.

Twelve episodes. Seems like a good number, right?

But wait... Is it enough? That's where things get interesting.

Here's my hot take: No. Twelve episodes just doesn't cut it. I know, I know, some people think it's perfect.

They say it wraps things up nicely. I politely disagree. In fact, I'd go so far to say it doesn't wrap anything up at all.

It felt rushed. Like they were trying to cram a whole skyscraper's worth of plot into a tiny apartment.

We needed more time with Yuri and her brother! More explanation for the masks! More everything!

Don't even get me started on character development. It felt like characters were making decisions... just because.

I wanted to understand why they did what they did. Twelve episodes simply weren't enough to make those connections.

Some people change, others don't, I don't know the anime barely explored their motivations behind their actions.

Those masks are cool. Seriously, the designs are awesome.

A character with a mask is automatically interesting, right?

But what's the deal with them? Are they controlling the people, or just amplifying their inner darkness?

We get glimpses, but never a full picture. Another reason why twelve episodes felt limiting.

The ending? Let's just say it leaves the door WIDE open for a second season.

Which, naturally, I'm hoping for. Give us more episodes, Netflix!

I want to see what happens next. I want to know the real purpose of the High-Rise Invasion.

So, to recap: there are twelve episodes. Not enough, in my humble (and possibly controversial) opinion.

I need more sky-high drama! More masked mayhem! More Yuri kicking butt!

Give us more episodes so that the world can be adequately flushed out!

Is that so much to ask? I think not!
