How Many Episodes Of Gilded Age Season 1

How Many Episodes Of Gilded Age Season 1

So, You Binged The Gilded Age. Now What?

Confession time: I'm completely obsessed with The Gilded Age. Are you too? All the drama, the dresses, the dazzling digs!

But after you've devoured every episode, a crucial question lingers. How many episodes WAS there, exactly?

The Big Reveal: Eight Episodes of Pure Opulence

Okay, drumroll please! The Gilded Age Season 1 clocks in at a neat and tidy eight episodes. Not too short, not too long. Just right for a weekend binge, right?

Eight episodes of scheming socialites and ambitious newcomers. Eight episodes to swoon over those incredible hats!

Personally? I think it’s the perfect length. Fight me in the comments. (Just kidding… mostly.)

But... Was That Enough?

Let's be real. Eight episodes FLEW by faster than you can say "new money."

It felt like we were just getting to know everyone. And then, BAM! Season over.

I need more Mrs. Russell being a boss! I need more awkward encounters between Marian and... well, everyone!

Unpopular Opinion Alert: Should It Have Been Longer?

Here's where I might get some heat. I think The Gilded Age Season 1 could have benefited from a few more episodes.

Hear me out! More time to delve deeper into the supporting characters. More time for those delicious side plots to thicken.

We could have explored more of the city's grit alongside the glamour. Show more of the lives of the staff downstairs.

Think of the Possibilities!

Imagine an episode dedicated solely to Agnes van Rhijn's witty retorts. A whole hour of shade? Yes, please!

Or maybe an episode focusing on Peggy Scott's burgeoning journalism career. So much potential!

I’m just saying, imagine an extra two episodes. Could have really cemented the show as a true epic.

Eight Episodes: A Glimpse or a Full Course Meal?

Eight episodes gave us a taste. A delicious, decadent taste, for sure!

But I craved a full course meal. A multi-layered, character-driven masterpiece.

Maybe Season 2 will deliver! Fingers crossed for at least ten episodes. Or twelve. Or... you know what, just give me all the episodes!

So, What Now? We Wait!

For now, we re-watch the original eight episodes. Analyze every glance, every raised eyebrow, every perfectly placed diamond.

Then, we speculate wildly about what Season 2 will bring.

And secretly hope that someone at HBO reads this and adds a few extra episodes. A girl can dream, right?

Don't forget to check out other period dramas to fill the void! Maybe something a little less... gilded? (Just kidding!)

Until then, happy binge-watching! Let's discuss our favorite moments below in the comments.
