How Many Episodes Of Dragon Ball Gt Are There

Okay, let's talk Dragon Ball GT. You know, that series everyone loves to… debate? Yeah, debate. Especially when figuring out how many episodes there actually are.
The Official Number: It's Always 64 (Supposedly)
Officially, Dragon Ball GT boasts 64 episodes. Every website will tell you this. Every forum, every wiki. It's practically gospel.
But is it really though? Deep down, does it feel like 64 episodes? Maybe it just feels longer because of…reasons.
Must Read
Perhaps those reasons rhyme with "baby arc". shudders.
My Unpopular Opinion: It's Fewer (in Spirit, Anyway)
Here’s where I might lose some friends. Ready? I don't think Dragon Ball GT is 64 episodes worth of awesome.
Hear me out! Some episodes are…filler-ish. Okay, maybe more than some. Some feel like they could have been condensed.

So, in my heart, I count it as… less. Maybe 50? Maybe 40 on a really good day. Don't @ me!
The Case for Fewer: Pacing, Pacing, Pacing
A lot of people, including me, struggle with the pacing of GT. It meanders a bit, especially early on.
Think about that space adventure! It had its moments, sure. But did it need to be as long as it was?

Couldn't we have gotten to Super Saiyan 4 Goku a little faster? The build-up felt longer than a spirit bomb charging sequence.
The Case for Fewer: Power Levels and Logic (or Lack Thereof)
Let's be honest, power levels in Dragon Ball GT are… wonky. We're talking "Krillin can almost beat Super Perfect Cell" levels of wonky.
Certain fight scenes felt dragged out. Fights that should've been over in a few minutes stretched into entire episodes. Which pads the episode count, but not the enjoyment.
"But it's Dragon Ball! Just enjoy the fighting!" - Probably someone in the comments.
And I usually do! But sometimes, I just wanted things to, ya know, make sense.

The Real Number: It's All About Perception
Ultimately, the number of episodes in Dragon Ball GT is a matter of opinion. Sixty-four is the official count.
But how many episodes do you remember fondly? How many do you skip on a rewatch? That's your personal episode count.
Maybe you love every single second of Dragon Ball GT. And if that's you, awesome! I'm genuinely happy for you.

But for me? It’s a bit…shorter. Spiritually shorter, anyway. I love the ending. But the journey wasn't always as smooth. Baby was... a lot.
So, while the internet screams "64!", my heart whispers a different number. A number based on enjoyment, not just the official episode list.
What's your Dragon Ball GT episode count? And am I the only one who feels this way? Let me know! (But be nice!).
Maybe we can all agree that Super Saiyan 4 was, objectively, pretty cool. Even if the journey to get there felt like 80 episodes.
