How Many Episodes Of Discovery Of Witches Season 3

Okay, let's talk about A Discovery of Witches. Specifically, season 3.
How Many Episodes Did We Actually Get?
Remember the agonizing wait? The hype? The anticipation?
Then BAM! Eight episodes. Just eight. Is it just me, or did that feel... short?
Must Read
Seriously, eight episodes felt like a blink. We barely got to unpack our emotional baggage.
Was It Enough? (Spoiler Alert: Probably Not)
Don't get me wrong, I inhaled every second. Matthew Goode? Absolute perfection.
But eight measly episodes to wrap up such an epic saga? Come on!
It felt like we were rushing through plot points faster than Gallowglass can down a pint.

The books were so rich! So detailed! Where was all that in the show?
My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves)
Here it comes... I think season 3 needed, AT LEAST, two more episodes.
Hear me out! We could have used more character development, maybe.
The final battle felt a little rushed, didn’t it? I wanted more magical mayhem!
Some scenes felt like they were crammed in like sardines. More breathing room would have been great.

Think about it. More time with Diana and Matthew figuring things out. We deserved that!
More scenes of Gallowglass being adorably broody. Is that too much to ask?
What Could Extra Episodes Have Given Us?
Imagine a deeper dive into the Congregation politics. So much potential there!
More exploration of the different creatures. Demons, witches, vampires – oh my!
A slower, more deliberate unraveling of the mysteries. Let the suspense build!

Maybe even a little more time seeing the twins grow. They were adorable!
And honestly, more time with Marcus. Because, well, Marcus.
Am I Being Too Greedy?
Maybe. Probably. But a girl can dream, right?
Eight episodes of Discovery of Witches season 3 was good. Very good.
But ten episodes? Now THAT would have been truly magical.

Perhaps if we all band together and chant the correct spells, they'll give us a bonus season. (I know, I know, wishful thinking.)
Until then, I'll be here, rewatching the existing episodes and imagining what could have been. And maybe writing some fan fiction. Don't judge.
Anyone else agree? Or am I alone in my quest for more witchy goodness?
Let me know in the comments. Let's commiserate (or celebrate, if you thought eight episodes was perfect!).
And remember, even with just eight episodes, A Discovery of Witches remains a binge-worthy gem. Just wish there were a few more!
