How Many Episodes In Season 5 Of My Hero Academia

So, Like, How Many Episodes Really In Season 5 of My Hero Academia?
Okay, real talk. We all binged My Hero Academia Season 5, right? But did anyone else feel like it was over way too fast?
The official answer is 25 episodes. Twenty-five! That sounds like a lot. But somehow, it wasn't enough. Anyone else agree?
The Training Arc That Felt...Long
Remember the Joint Training arc? It was long. We watched Class 1-A and Class 1-B duke it out. Match after match.
Must Read
It was cool, don't get me wrong. But did it need, like, ten episodes? I'm not so sure.
Maybe that's just me. Maybe I'm impatient. But still...
The Villain Arc That Flew By
Then came the Villain Academia arc. Finally, some love for the baddies! Shigaraki got some serious screen time.
We saw the League of Villains evolve. They fought. They struggled. It was awesome.

But BAM! Just like that, it was over. It felt rushed, almost. Like they were trying to cram too much into too little time.
My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves)
Here it comes. My truly controversial take. Season 5 needed more episodes. Or, at least, a different pacing.
Hear me out! Imagine if the Joint Training arc was shorter. And the Villain arc was longer and more detailed.
We could have explored the villains' motivations more. We could have seen Shigaraki's descent into madness in greater detail. Think about it!
The Cliffhanger That Left Us Hanging
And that ending! Talk about a cliffhanger. The setup for the next season was intense.

But it also felt...abrupt. Like we were missing something. More episodes could have eased us into it.
Instead, we were left with a million questions. And a desperate need for Season 6.
So, Twenty-Five Episodes? Debatable.
Officially, yes, there are 25 episodes in Season 5. But in my heart? It feels like there should have been at least 30. Maybe even more!
Maybe I just wanted more My Hero Academia in my life. Is that so wrong?

Don't get me wrong I love the series! I just think Season 5 could have been even better.
What Could've Been: Some Ideas
Think about deeper dives into specific characters. More exploration of the quirks. More world-building!
The potential was there. It was just a matter of giving it more room to breathe.
Maybe that's just wishful thinking. But a girl can dream, right?
Am I Alone In This?
Tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way. Was Season 5 paced oddly, or am I just crazy?

Did anyone else feel like some arcs were too long and others too short? Let me know!
Let's commiserate (or argue!) in the comments. After all, we're all My Hero Academia fans here.
In Conclusion: More Plus Ultra, Please!
So, yes, technically 25 episodes. But in spirit? Season 5 was just begging for more. More action, more character development, more everything!
Here's hoping Season 6 delivers. And maybe, just maybe, it will be a little longer.
One can only hope. Plus Ultra!
