Think of all the subplots they could have explored further. All the character development we could have witnessed. The explosions, the betrayals... It could have been glorious!

Imagine two or three more episodes dedicated solely to Angel Reyes navigating fatherhood. Or deeper dives into the other charters on the show.

The Season Finale Feels

And that finale? Intense. Heart-wrenching. But also rushed. Like they had to tie up all the loose ends in under an hour.

I'm pretty sure I aged ten years just watching it. Stress levels were at an all-time high.

They could have stretched that out. Added some breathing room. Given us time to process everything. But no. Straight to the cliffhanger!

It's like they wanted to inflict maximum emotional damage. Well, mission accomplished, Mayans M.C. creators!

Seriously, I spent the next few days in a state of bewildered reflection, asking myself what I'd just witnessed.

Obviously, I can't magically add more episodes. I wish I could! But maybe, just maybe, if enough of us complain, FX will listen.

Season 5 needs to be longer. It's non-negotiable. It's for the good of humanity. Or at least for the good of the Mayans M.C. fandom.
