How Many Episodes In Season 2 Of The Righteous Gemstones

More Gemstones, Please!
Okay, let's talk Righteous Gemstones. Season 2 was a wild ride, right? From motorcycle assassins to…well, more family drama than Thanksgiving at your grandma's.
But here’s the thing. Did it feel…short? Like you just settled in with your popcorn, and BAM! It was over.
We're talking about the episode count. How many episodes were actually in Season 2?
Must Read
Nine Episodes: Is That All?
Yup, that’s the magic number. Season 2 of The Righteous Gemstones graced our screens with a grand total of nine episodes.
Nine episodes to unravel the mystery of the Cycle Ninjas. Nine episodes to witness the Gemstone siblings' epic squabbles. Nine episodes to appreciate the sheer comedic genius of Walton Goggins as Baby Billy.
I know, I know. Quality over quantity and all that jazz.
But still…nine episodes? Felt like a tease!

An Unpopular Opinion: We Needed More
Brace yourselves. Here comes my controversial take. Nine episodes just weren't enough.
Hear me out! The world of the Gemstones is so rich. So over-the-top. So deliciously absurd.
Each character is a walking, talking comedy goldmine. We barely scratched the surface of their potential for chaos!
Think About It
Imagine a whole episode dedicated to Judy's (Edi Patterson) unique… fashion choices. We could have a flashback episode showcasing Eli's (John Goodman) wrestling days in excruciating detail.

A side quest with Kelvin (Adam Devine) and his God Squad tackling a genuinely bizarre and hilarious mission? The possibilities are endless!
With only nine episodes, some storylines felt rushed. Some jokes deserved more room to breathe.
Don't Get Me Wrong
Season 2 was still fantastic. The writing was sharp, the performances were stellar, and the satire was on point.
But that’s exactly why it left me wanting more! It's like eating a single, perfect bite of the world's best cake.
You savor it, you appreciate it, but you're immediately craving the rest of the slice.

The Demand is There!
Clearly, I'm not the only one who feels this way. The internet is buzzing with Gemstone love!
Fans are dissecting every scene, quoting every line, and creating memes that are almost as funny as the show itself.
HBO, are you listening? The people want more Gemstones! More chaos! More Baby Billy!
Looking Ahead
Thankfully, we know there's a Season 3 on the horizon. Let's cross our fingers and pray to the algorithm gods for a longer season this time around.

Maybe, just maybe, we'll get those extra episodes filled with glorious Gemstone shenanigans.
Until then, I'll be rewatching Season 2, dreaming of what could have been. And preparing myself for the next wave of righteous absurdity.
In the Meantime...
What did you think? Did Season 2's nine-episode run feel like enough to you?
Or are you, like me, secretly plotting a petition for a super-sized Season 3?
Sound off in the comments! Let's discuss the merits of more Gemstones and celebrate the comedic brilliance of Danny McBride.
