How Many Episodes In Season 11 Of Archer

Okay, let's talk Archer. Specifically, Season 11.
How many episodes were there? The answer is eight. Seems like a small number, right?
The Curious Case of Archer Season 11's Episode Count
Eight episodes. That's all we got in Season 11 after Archer woke up from his coma. A bit of a letdown, perhaps?
Must Read
Most Archer seasons are around ten episodes. So, Season 11 felt... short. Like a sad, tiny Sterling.
I think it should have been longer. Don't you agree?
Was it a good season, though?
Ignoring the episode count, Season 11 had some solid laughs. Archer adjusting to the "real world" was funny.

Pam being Pam was, of course, pure gold. And Lana trying to keep it all together? Relatable.
But, eight episodes? It felt rushed. Like they were cramming too much into too little time.
I personally felt like the plot lines could've used more breathing room.
A (Slightly) Unpopular Opinion: Short Seasons are a Crime
Here's where I might lose some of you. I think shorter seasons are a disservice to good shows.

Especially when a show has a strong ensemble cast like Archer. We need more Pam! More Cheryl/Carol!
Eight episodes barely scratches the surface. We need character development, ridiculous scenarios, and witty banter!
I feel like we were just getting into the swing of things. Then suddenly it was over.
The Remedy? Rewatch, Rewatch, Rewatch
So, what do we do with our disappointment? We rewatch! That's what we do.

Relive the moments, savor the jokes, and pretend there were twenty episodes. It helps... a little.
Maybe if we watch it enough times, FX will give us a super-long season next time. A girl can dream, right?
Looking Ahead (and Backwards)
In the grand scheme of Archer, Season 11 is a blip. A short, slightly unsatisfying blip.
But it’s still Archer, and that counts for something. Even at only eight episodes long!

So, let's raise a glass (of whatever Archer would drink) to more episodes in the future!
Maybe a 24 episode season is too much to ask?
Maybe not.
I’m still rooting for a super-long, super-hilarious season.
