How Many Episodes In Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

Okay, let's talk Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. You know, that anime everyone says you have to watch?
It’s amazing. No arguments there. But the real question always lingers: How many episodes are we committing to?
The Magical Number: 64
Yup, that's it. 64 episodes. Sixty-four chances to cry over Al's armor and Ed's temper tantrums.
Must Read
It sounds like a lot, doesn't it? Almost intimidating. But trust me, it flies by faster than Alphonse trying to eat pudding.
Is It Really Worth It? (Unpopular Opinion Alert!)
Here's where I might ruffle some feathers. Deep breaths, FMA: Brotherhood fanatics.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great show. But is it perfect? That's debatable. I think it's little bit too long.

Sixty-four episodes is a big commitment. Especially with so much other anime vying for your attention. What if the last 20 were cut?
Think of all the other shows you could binge-watch in that time! Like three seasons of Spy x Family!
The Pacing Problem (Maybe?)
Some might argue (and they do, believe me) that every episode is crucial. Every moment builds the story.
But let's be honest, there are a few episodes where you’re just waiting for the plot to advance. We all have that one anime we watch every week.

Maybe some trimming wouldn't hurt? Just a little nip and tuck? What do you think?
The Filler Defense
Before you grab your pitchforks, I'm not saying it's full of filler. FMA: Brotherhood is known for its tight storytelling.
But sometimes, that tightness feels…stretched. Like when you're trying to make one slice of pizza last for a whole movie.

Sure, you can do it, but is it the most satisfying experience? Hmmm….
Why We Still Love It
Despite my possibly controversial thoughts, I still adore Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
The characters are amazing. The story is compelling. And the animation is top-notch. The Elric Brothers' story is a masterpiece.
It’s just…long. Real long. But in a way, the length allows for a deep investment in the characters and the world. You feel like a part of Amestris after 64 episodes.

So, Should You Watch It?
Absolutely! Yes! A thousand times yes! Even with my (minor) reservations, it’s a must-see.
Just be prepared for the long haul. Stock up on snacks and maybe clear your schedule for a week or two.
And remember, 64 episodes. That's the magic number. Don't say I didn't warn you.
"A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain something without sacrificing something else in return."
That quote is from the show, by the way. Pretty deep, right? Now go watch it again! (All 64 episodes!)
