How Many Episodes In Demon Slayer Season 2 So Far

Okay, let's talk Demon Slayer! More specifically, how many episodes of Season 2 are actually out right now?

It feels like it's been going on forever, right? Are we even keeping track anymore?

The Official Count (and My Unpopular Opinion)

Officially, Season 2 is split into two arcs. The Mugen Train arc and the Entertainment District arc.

Mugen Train technically clocked in at 7 episodes. But hold on a second!

My unpopular opinion? Those Mugen Train episodes... they kinda don't count. Fight me!

It was basically a rehash of the movie. Beautifully animated, sure. But still.

That leaves us with the Entertainment District arc.

This is where the real action, the real tears, and the real Upper Moon battles happened. Let's get to the actual new content!

The Entertainment District arc gives us 11 glorious episodes.

So, depending on how you see it, we're either at 18 episodes total, or a much more manageable 11. I'm sticking with 11.

Honestly, it doesn't really matter. But knowing how much content is actually new helps when you're planning a re-watch.

Do you really need to relive the Mugen Train arc again if you just saw the movie last week?

Probably not. But who am I to judge your Demon Slayer obsession?

The real issue is that wait between seasons! Isn't it brutal?

It feels like an eternity! I start questioning my entire existence.

Seriously, they need to hurry up with Season 3. My sanity depends on it. I will watch more of Tanjiro.

Demon Slayer is amazing. The animation is top-notch. The characters are lovable (and hateable!).

The story keeps you hooked, even if you know what's coming (thanks, manga readers!).

And even if I'm a bit salty about the Mugen Train rehash, I can't deny that Ufotable knows how to make a visually stunning show.

So, to recap: 11 new episodes in my book.

And another unpopular opinion? Zenitsu is secretly the strongest character. Don't @ me.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch the Entertainment District arc. Again.
