How Many Episodes In Big Sky Season 2

Big Sky: Season 2 - How Many Episodes Did They Give Us? (And Was It Enough?!)
Okay, let's talk Big Sky. Specifically, season 2. Remember all the drama? But first, a burning question: just how many episodes did we actually get?
Drumroll, please! We were gifted with a grand total of 18 episodes. Eighteen weeks of Montana mayhem. Sounds like a lot, right?
Eighteen Episodes: A Blessing or a Curse?
Honestly, it depends who you ask. Some folks were probably thrilled. Others (like maybe me?)…well, let's just say I have thoughts.
Must Read
Eighteen episodes can feel like a marathon. Especially if some plotlines drag on. Did we really need all that time for certain characters to make questionable decisions?
Don't get me wrong, I love a good twist! Big Sky delivers those in spades. It's just sometimes I felt like they were adding twists just to add twists.
I almost think a tighter season would have been better. Maybe, say, 13 episodes of pure, unadulterated thriller goodness? Is that just me?

Unpopular Opinion Alert!
Here's where things might get controversial. Brace yourselves.
I think season 2 could have cut the fluff. Some of those side stories felt…well, like filler. Did they really advance the overall arc?
Seriously, I could have lived without certain subplots. We could've focused more on Jenny Hoyt kicking butt. And Cassie Dewell solving mysteries. More of that, please!

And speaking of characters…were there too many? Trying to keep track of everyone's motivations was a job in itself!
The Good Stuff (Because There Was Plenty!)
Okay, okay, I'm not a total hater. Big Sky still brought the heat in season 2. There were definitely some awesome moments.
The Montana scenery is always breathtaking. Even when people are doing terrible things. Plus, the cast is fantastic!

Kylie Bunbury and Katheryn Winnick are incredible. They totally sell their characters. They make you root for them (even when they're making questionable choices!).
And let's be real, we all love a good small-town mystery. Big Sky knows how to deliver those. Especially when they involve secrets, lies, and maybe a few dead bodies.
Plus, the villains are deliciously evil. You love to hate them. They make the show exciting.

So, Was 18 Episodes Too Much?
Ultimately, it's a matter of taste. Some viewers loved every single minute. Some wished for a more streamlined story. And some of us, like me, are on the fence.
Maybe I'm just greedy for perfectly paced TV. Is that so wrong? I just want every episode to be a banger!
Regardless of your opinion, season 2 of Big Sky was definitely a wild ride. Eighteen episodes worth of twists, turns, and Montana madness. Buckle up!
What do you think? Were 18 episodes the perfect amount, or do you agree that less could have been more? Let me know!
