Twelve episodes of pure, unadulterated Titan-smashing, existential dread, and screaming. Good times!

But wait! Don't get too comfortable. Because it wasn’t really the end, was it?

Oh no, they gave us "Final Season Part 3". Also known as "The Final Chapters".

This was split into two parts again. Clever, right?

Part 1 aired in March 2023. Part 2 followed in November 2023. So it's over now... for real, right?

I think the constant splitting of the final season was... a bit much.

Hear me out! I loved the show. I was hooked like everyone else, but the constant delays and re-brandings felt like milking the cow a little too hard.

Remember waiting for Part 1? The anticipation was palpable!

Then, "Oh, but wait! There's more!" It started to feel less like a final season and more like a very, very long season with dramatic intermissions.

Don't get me wrong. Each "part" was packed with amazing animation and story moments. MAPPA did an incredible job.

But all the splitting just diluted the hype for me, personally.

Despite my complaints, I still watched every episode. Twice.

And I still cried. A lot.

Attack on Titan is a masterpiece. It tackles complex themes and presents them in a visually stunning package.

Even if the "final" season felt a little stretched, the overall journey was unforgettable.

So, was it worth all the waiting? Yes. A thousand times, yes.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go rewatch the entire series from the beginning. Again.

And maybe this time, I'll finally understand what's going on with Eren.
