How Many Episodes For Aot Season 4 Part 2

Okay, let's talk about Attack on Titan. More specifically, Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2. And even more specifically, how many episodes it actually needed.
Because let's be real, sometimes anime seasons feel… stretched, right? Like they're rationing out the good stuff way too slowly.
The Great Episode Count Debate
So, officially, Season 4 Part 2 had 12 episodes. Twelve whole weeks of waiting (or binging, if you came late to the party). Was it enough? Too much? Just right, like baby bear's porridge?
Must Read
Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. I mean, the animation was gorgeous. The voice acting? Top-notch. But… the pacing? Hmm.
My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves!)
Here's where I might lose some of you. I think it could've been tighter. Maybe even a few episodes shorter. GASP! I know, I know. Blasphemy!
Hear me out, though. Remember those episodes where not a ton happened plot-wise? Where characters mostly just stood around brooding and yelling?

Don't get me wrong, the brooding and yelling were great. But did we need entire episodes dedicated to it? I'm not convinced.
Imagine if some of that internal monologue, those long, drawn-out stares... were compressed. Shorter, punchier scenes. Bam! Bam! Bam! Even more impact.
Think of it like editing a movie. Sometimes, less is more. Cut out the fluff, keep the meat. And Attack on Titan definitely had plenty of meat.
A Matter of Perspective (and Manga Content)
Of course, this is all subjective. Maybe you loved every single second of those 12 episodes. Maybe you think it was perfect. And hey, that's totally valid!

A lot of the episode count comes down to faithfully adapting the manga. They had to fit a certain number of chapters into a certain number of episodes.
But even with that constraint, I still think there were opportunities for streamlining. For tightening the narrative screws just a little bit more.
Imagine if the whole Rumbling arc felt even more relentless, more urgent. Shaving off an episode or two could have ramped up that tension even further.

The Binging Factor
Maybe this is just the binging talking. Watching week to week is a different experience than slamming all 12 episodes in a weekend. I did both!
When you binge, those slower moments become even more noticeable. The pacing issues (if you perceive them) are amplified.
So, maybe if I'd watched it weekly, I wouldn't feel this way. Maybe the slow burn would have been more appreciated.
Ultimately, It's Still Awesome
Regardless of whether you agree with me or think I'm completely nuts, let's be clear: Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 was incredible. BREATHTAKING.

The animation, the music, the story… it all came together to create something truly special. A modern masterpiece.
So, even if I think it could've been a tad shorter, I still devoured every single episode. And I'm still anxiously awaiting whatever comes next.
Because let’s be honest, no matter the episode count, we’ll all be watching, right?
And probably arguing about it afterward. That's just part of the fun! Thanks Eren!
