How Many Episodes Does Demon Slayer Season 2 Have

Okay, let's talk Demon Slayer. Season 2, specifically. You know, the one that felt like it lasted a lifetime? I'm just going to say it: finding the exact episode count felt like a demon slayer-level quest in itself.
The Great Episode Hunt
Seriously, did anyone else feel like they were aging in dog years waiting for each new episode? It wasn't just me, right? Trying to figure out how many episodes were actually in Season 2 was like navigating the Endless Train arc all over again.
Some say eleven, others swear it was twelve. I've even seen folks claiming thirteen! Who's telling the truth?!
Must Read
Let's Break It Down
First, we have the Mugen Train arc. This was technically part of Season 2. Don't @ me!
It covered the movie in seven episodes. Yes, seven! Seems like overkill, but who am I to judge Ufotable's beautiful animation?
Then comes the Entertainment District Arc. Ah, Yoshiwara! This gave us some seriously awesome fights. This one clocks in at eleven episodes.

So, if you combine the Mugen Train arc with the Entertainment District Arc, you get... drum roll please... eighteen episodes!
Eighteen episodes of demon slaying goodness. That's a lot of screen time!
My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves)
Okay, this might be controversial. But I think the Mugen Train arc should have been kept as a movie. Yes, I said it!

Seven episodes felt stretched, even with the gorgeous animation. I mean, we already saw it in theaters!
It felt like padding to get to the Entertainment District Arc. Anyone else agree?
The Real Question: Was It Worth It?
Despite my tiny, possibly blasphemous opinion, I have to admit. The Entertainment District Arc was fantastic. Tengen Uzui is a total badass!

The animation was top-notch, the story was engaging, and the fights were epic. Especially that fight with Gyutaro and Daki!
Ultimately, even with the Mugen Train arc feeling a little long, Season 2 delivered. It gave us everything we love about Demon Slayer.
But let's be honest, even if it was 20 episodes long, we'd still be screaming for more, right? It's just that good!

So, eighteen episodes it is! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch it. Because why not?

Let's hope season 3 is just around the corner!
