How Many Episodes Are There In Season 7 Of Bosch

Let's talk about Bosch, shall we? Specifically, the final season. The one that made us all a little misty-eyed.

We're diving deep (or maybe just wading ankle-deep) into Season 7. The question on everyone's mind: How many episodes did we get?

The Big Reveal (It's Not Exactly a Secret)

Drumroll, please! Season 7 of Bosch gave us a solid ten episodes. Boom. There it is.

Not too few, not too many. Just enough to wrap things up (mostly) neatly.

Okay, here's where my controversial opinion comes in. Ten episodes...it felt a tad rushed, didn't it?

I know, I know. Some people think it was perfect. But hear me out.

Harry Bosch deals with complex cases. He's not solving Scooby-Doo mysteries. Everything needs more time to cook!

Imagine if we had, say, twelve episodes? Or even thirteen? We could have savored every moment.

More time to develop the plot. More time for Bosch to brood. More time with Jerry Edgar!

Wouldn't that have been amazing? I think so. Just picture it.

I felt the season tried to cram too much into a limited space. The tension felt a bit...forced.

Like they were trying to stuff a Thanksgiving turkey into a microwave. Delicious, but maybe not the best method.

The cases felt a little compressed. A few storylines deserved more breathing room. What do you think?

Look, I'm not saying Season 7 was bad. Far from it! It was still Bosch. That means it was quality television.

Titus Welliver is incredible as Harry Bosch. The supporting cast is top-notch. The writing is sharp.

It's just...I wanted more. Is that so wrong?

I suspect some of you are nodding along. You get it. You feel my pain. We are the "More Bosch" brigade.

Others are probably throwing virtual tomatoes at me right now. "Ten episodes were perfect! You're crazy!"

That's okay! We can agree to disagree. But deep down, you know I'm right. (Maybe.)

So, to recap: Season 7 of Bosch has ten episodes. A good number, but maybe not enough for this fan.

I'm not ashamed to admit I wanted more time with these characters. More time in that world.

Bosch is a detective series that stays with you! And maybe, just maybe, that's why ten episodes felt like a blink.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go re-watch the entire series. Again. Maybe this time I will discover some hidden things. Or maybe not.

And who knows? Maybe the upcoming Bosch: Legacy will finally give us the expanded storytelling we crave!
