How Many Episodes Are In Season 1 Of You

So, you're hooked on You, huh? Welcome to the club! But how many episodes did you binge-watch in that first season? Let's dive in.
The Official Answer (and Why It's Not Enough)
Okay, officially, Season 1 of You has 10 episodes. Ten glorious, creepy, and oh-so-bingeable episodes. Case closed? Not quite.
That's where things get interesting. Because, let's be honest, some episodes just feel longer than others. Is it just me?

The Binge-Watching Time Warp
Anyone else experience this? You start an episode. Next thing you know, the sun is coming up. And your pizza is cold.
Suddenly, episode 7 felt like three episodes crammed into one! Don't tell me you haven't been there.
It's like when you're scrolling through TikTok. You think it's been five minutes. Boom. Two hours gone.

An Unpopular Opinion (Prepare Yourselves!)
Here's where I might lose some of you. But I stand by it. Season 1 of You felt like it should have been, like, 12 episodes.
Hear me out! So much happened! So many twists! Ten just felt… rushed, somehow.
Maybe it's because I didn't want it to end. Maybe I'm just greedy for more Joe Goldberg antics.

The Argument for More...
Think about it. There was so much potential for deeper dives. Into Beck's friends. Into Joe's past.
More backstory for Peach Salinger, perhaps? I, for one, wanted to understand her better (or at least, hate her more thoroughly).
Plus, imagine two more episodes of pure, unadulterated suspense! More red herrings. More plot twists! More everything!

Am I Alone In This?
Seriously, though, am I the only one who felt like Season 1 needed a couple more episodes?
Tell me I'm not crazy! Or, tell me I am. I can handle it. Probably.
Maybe I just need to re-watch the entire season again. You know, for research purposes. Yeah, that's it.

So, to Recap (and Fuel the Debate):
Officially: 10 episodes. In my heart: closer to 12. Reality: A masterpiece of suspenseful television. End of story.
"It's about love. Isn't that the root of everything?" - Joe Goldberg.Food for thought, especially when pondering episode counts.
But regardless of episode count, we're all united in our love (or fascination) with You. And that's what truly matters. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a show to re-watch.
