How Many Episodes Are In Season 1 Of Demon Slayer

Okay, let's talk Demon Slayer. Specifically, Season 1. How many episodes are there? It’s a question many of us have Googled, right?
The answer? A whopping 26 episodes! That's like, a serious commitment. But was it worth it?
Twenty-Six? Really?!
Yes, 26! That’s almost a full month of watching Tanjiro and Nezuko every single day. Assuming you don't sleep, of course. (Don't do that.)
Must Read
Think about it: 26 episodes of demon slaying, training montages, and tear-jerking moments. That's a lot of feelings!
It's a marathon, not a sprint! Hopefully you stretched before starting. Otherwise, prepare for some anime-watching-induced aches.
An Unpopular Opinion (Maybe)
Here's where I might get some hate. I think 26 episodes was… too much.

Don't get me wrong. I loved seeing Tanjiro's journey. And Nezuko is just plain adorable.
But some arcs felt a little drawn out, you know? Like, we get it. Demons are bad! Let's move on!
Padding or Perfection?
Maybe it's just me. Maybe I have the attention span of a goldfish. But a tighter 20-episode season? I think it could've been chef's kiss.
Some of those filler episodes... were they really necessary? Or did they just want to pad out the runtime?

Imagine a more streamlined version. Focus on the key battles, the emotional beats, and less of... whatever that one demon with the drums was all about.
The Good Stuff: What Made It Worth It
Despite my slightly negative (okay, maybe very negative) opinion on the length, I still enjoyed it. The animation is gorgeous!
Seriously, Ufotable knocked it out of the park. Every fight scene is a visual masterpiece.
And the characters! You can't help but root for Tanjiro. He's just so earnest and determined. Plus, the supporting cast is fantastic.

Zenitsu's screaming? Annoying, but also hilarious. And Inosuke? The boar-headed wild child stole every scene he was in!
And let's not forget the emotional core. The bond between Tanjiro and Nezuko is what makes the show truly special.
So, Was 26 Episodes Too Many?
Ultimately, that's up to you to decide. Did you binge it in a weekend and love every second? Awesome!
Did you find yourself skipping through some of the slower parts? Hey, no judgment here.

Regardless, Demon Slayer Season 1 made a splash. It introduced us to a world of demons, swords, and unforgettable characters.
And whether you think it was perfectly paced or a little too long, you can't deny its impact on the anime landscape.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch Nezuko being adorable. And maybe skip a few episodes this time.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
