How Many Episodes Are In Murders In The Building

Okay, let's talk Murders in the Building. We all love it, right? Selena, Steve, and Martin? Come on! But something's been bugging me.
How Many Episodes ARE Enough?
I know, I know. More episodes are usually good, right? More mystery, more laughs, more knitted sweaters from Oliver Putnam. But hear me out!
Each season of Murders in the Building has been around ten episodes. Seems reasonable. Is it, though?
Must Read
My Unpopular Opinion
I think... maybe... less is more? Gasp! I said it.
Ten episodes feels just a tad stretched sometimes. The plot gets a bit... meandering. We get side characters that vanish into thin air. Like, remember the cat lady in season one?
Suddenly, it's the finale. And you're scrambling to remember all the clues. Did they even mention that detail in episode two?

I'm not saying I hate ten episodes. But seven or eight? Pure, concentrated mystery goodness? Maybe that's the sweet spot.
Think about it. Tighter plot. Every scene matters. No filler with Mabel searching for the perfect empanada for five minutes. (Okay, maybe that's a good thing.)
The Case for Less Mabel Rambling
Don't get me wrong. Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) is amazing. But sometimes the show gets a little distracted.
We follow red herrings down long, winding paths. We meet quirky neighbors who are probably innocent. (Until they're not!)

A shorter season would force the writers to be ruthless. Every scene would have to pack a punch. No wasted moments.
Plus, think of the suspense! A quicker pace would keep us on the edge of our seats. Binge-watching would become an Olympic sport.
The Charles-Haden Savage Argument
Of course, some people love the leisurely pace. They enjoy the character development. They cherish the witty banter between Charles-Haden Savage and Oliver.

And that's totally valid! I get it. It's comforting. Like a warm cup of tea and a true-crime podcast.
But sometimes, I feel like I'm watching a slow-burn romance... with murder as the awkward third wheel.
Imagine a season so tightly plotted. Every clue drops like a perfectly timed joke from Oliver. Every suspect hides a secret as dark as Charles's past.
So, What's the Verdict?
Look, I'm not demanding a revolution. I'm not staging a protest outside Hulu headquarters. I still love Murders in the Building.

I just think... maybe... fewer episodes could make it even better. More focused. More thrilling.
But hey, what do I know? I'm just a viewer with an opinion. And probably a very unpopular one at that. What do you think?
Regardless, I will be seated for season four. With popcorn, of course. And maybe a knitted sweater of my own.
Let's hope the next murder is contained in at least ten episodes!
