How Many Episodes Are In Kiss Him Not Me

Okay, let's talk about Kiss Him, Not Me!. Specifically, let's chat about the number of episodes. Are you ready?
How Many Episodes, Really?
Technically, there are 12 episodes. Yup, just a neat dozen.
But here's where my (possibly unpopular) opinion comes in. 12 episodes just aren't enough!
Must Read
The Problem: Not Enough Harem Hijinks
Think about it! Kae Serinuma, our lovely protagonist, suddenly slimmed down. Now she's got four hot guys (and a girl!) vying for her attention. It's prime harem material.
Each episode is precious, granted. We get a taste of the awkward romance, the funny misunderstandings, and the intense shipping wars.
But did we really get enough? I think not!
My Wishful Thinking: At Least 24!
Imagine if we doubled the episode count. We could delve deeper into each character's backstory. More Shinomiya, please!

Plus, more opportunities for crazy situations. Think cosplay contests gone wild! Maybe a haunted house episode where everyone gets paired up?
And definitely more yaoi fangirling moments from Kae.
The Romance Deserves More Time
Honestly, the romantic development felt a bit rushed. I mean, Kae is trying to balance her love for anime with her newfound popularity.
Twelve episodes is barely enough time to decide between Igarashi, Nanashima, Shinomiya, and Mutsumi-senpai. And don't forget Shima-chan!

We needed more dates! More awkward confessions! More stolen glances!
The Comedy Could Be Cranked Up
Kiss Him, Not Me! is hilarious. No doubt about that.
But with more episodes, the comedic potential is endless. Picture a school festival episode where everyone tries to win Kae's heart through elaborate performances.
Or a beach episode where the guys compete in ridiculous challenges. Imagine the swimsuit shenanigans!

The Unfairness of It All
It's just not fair. Some anime get like, a hundred episodes. And we're stuck with only twelve of pure, unadulterated reverse harem goodness?
Maybe I'm being greedy. But I truly believe this show had so much more to offer.
I'm starting a petition for a second season with at least 24 episodes. Who's with me?
Re-watch Value Is High, Though
Okay, even though I'm complaining, I've watched Kiss Him, Not Me! multiple times. It's just that good.

The characters are lovable. The humor is spot-on. And the romance is delightfully awkward.
But still...more episodes would have been amazing.
So, How Many is Enough? Never Enough!
So, to answer the question: Twelve episodes exist.
But in my heart, the perfect number is infinity. Or at least, like, 24. Or 36. Okay, I'll stop.
What do you think? Am I being unreasonable? Or do you also crave more Kiss Him, Not Me!?
