How Many Episode Will Aot Season 4 Have

Okay, Attack on Titan fans! We need to talk. It's about the never-ending question: How many episodes are we really getting for Season 4?
The Great Episode Debate
Seriously, this has been more confusing than trying to understand Eren's plans. One minute it's "final season," the next it's "final season... part 2... part 3..." You get the picture.
Isayama-sensei, bless his heart, really knows how to keep us on our toes.
Must Read
Official Numbers (and Why They Don't Matter)
Officially, Season 4 was split into three parts. Part 1 had 16 episodes. Then came Part 2 with 12. Followed by a series of specials.
Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong!

Because technically, those specials were also... parts? Mini-seasons? I'm starting to think the Titans themselves are less confusing than the episode count.
My Unpopular Opinion: It's All Made Up!
Okay, hear me out. I have a theory. A wild, conspiracy-level theory. The number of episodes is completely arbitrary.
Think about it. They could have sliced and diced the story into 50 mini-episodes. Or crammed everything into a single, epic, 24-hour marathon.

Really they divided it into 28 episodes and some specials.
Wouldn't that have been something? I mean, 24 hours with Eren screaming "TATAKAE!" at full volume. Might be a bit much, even for me.
"The truth is, we're all just guessing!" - Some random AoT fan (probably)
The Real Question: Was it Good?
Ultimately, does the number of episodes really matter? What matters is the story.

Did you cry when Sasha ate that potato and then... well, you know? Did you scream at your TV during the Rumbling?
That's what we'll remember. The emotional rollercoaster that was Attack on Titan.
The "Final" Final Thoughts
So, how many episodes were there? The answer is... enough.

Enough to make us laugh. Enough to make us cry. Enough to make us question the very nature of freedom, government, and giant, naked people.
And honestly, that's all that matters. Except, maybe, for a Season 5? Just kidding (mostly!).
Though, can you imagine? We would all watch it.
