How Long Is The New Spiderman Movie 2021

So, let's talk about something important: How long is the new Spider-Man movie?
I'm talking about Spider-Man: No Way Home, of course!
Prepare yourself, because it's a commitment.
Must Read
Seriously, How Long Are We Talking?
It clocks in at a cool 2 hours and 28 minutes.
Plus, you'll get some trailers before and after.
So, buckle up, butter your popcorn, and find the comfiest spot in the cinema or on your sofa!
My (Possibly Unpopular) Opinion
Okay, here it is. I think it's too long. Shhh, don't throw tomatoes at me yet!
Look, I love Spider-Man. I truly do.
But sometimes, I feel like movies try to cram way too much in.
I love the action and the story.

But, even the best action can get a little exhausting when it goes on and on.
Am I alone in this?
I'm also not a fan of extended cut movie.
That's why I like the theatrical cut of the movie in the cinema.
It feels like a cash grab.
But Wait, There's More!
Think about it. That's almost two and a half hours.
That's longer than my morning commute some days!
By the end, I'm ready for Spider-Man to just swing home so I can too.

And don't even get me started on bathroom breaks.
Trying to sneak out during a crucial plot point is like defusing a bomb.
Seriously, who decided that extra-large sodas were a good idea for a nearly three-hour movie?
Is It Worth It Though?
Okay, okay, I'll admit it. The movie is pretty good.
It has a lot of fan service.
It is a love letter to all of us that have watched Spider-Man since we were kids.
I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I almost spilled my giant soda.

So, I guess those two hours and 28 minutes weren't a total waste.
But my butt was still numb by the end.
And seeing those actors together in the same movie? Wow.
It's a once in a lifetime event to witness such a cinematic experience.
Even worth having to sneak to the bathroom, I suppose.
Final Thoughts
So, is Spider-Man: No Way Home too long?
Maybe. Probably. Definitely maybe.
But is it entertaining? Absolutely!

Just remember to stretch beforehand.
Maybe bring a pillow for your back.
And definitely empty your bladder before the previews start!
What do you think? Am I being too harsh on the length?
Or do you agree that some movies could use a little trimming?
Let me know in the comments!
"With great length comes great responsibility...to entertain!"
Maybe that should be the new Spider-Man motto.
