How Long Is Season 5 Of My Hero Academia

Okay, let's talk about My Hero Academia Season 5. Specifically, how long it felt. Seriously, did anyone else think it was longer than a summer internship?
Officially, Season 5 has 25 episodes. That's a standard anime season length, right? But something about it felt...different.
The Endless Joint Training Arc
Let's be honest: the Joint Training Arc was a marathon. It pit Class 1-A against Class 1-B. And it went on. And on.
Must Read
Don't get me wrong, seeing everyone develop their Quirks was cool. But after a while, it felt like watching paint dry. Very flashy, super-powered paint, but paint nonetheless.
Did we really need so many episodes dedicated to it? Some might say yes, but I politely disagree. My attention span started to resemble a Nomu's brain by the end.
The Villain Arc: A Breath of Fresh Air (Eventually)
Thank goodness for the Villain Arc! Finally, something different!

Seeing the League of Villains get some much-needed backstory and development was great. It was dark, gritty, and showed just how messed up these characters are. Plus, Shigaraki is awesome.
But even that felt a bit drawn out, didn't it? Maybe it's just me. But Season 5 felt like it took forever to reach the good stuff.
My Unpopular Opinion: Season 5 Pacing
Here it comes, my possibly controversial take: Season 5's pacing was off. There, I said it!

While it wasn't terrible, it felt like some arcs could've been condensed. Maybe fewer training montages? A quicker resolution to certain battles?
I understand the need for character development and world-building. But sometimes, a little less is more. We all just wanted more Deku saving the day!
The Animation Though...
One thing I can't complain about is the animation. Studio Bones consistently delivers top-notch visuals. Every fight scene was a visual feast!

The Quirks looked amazing. The character designs were sharp. Even during the slower moments, the art was gorgeous.
So, props to the animators! You guys are the real heroes. You made even the longest episodes watchable.
Was It Worth It?
Despite my gripes about the length, My Hero Academia Season 5 still had its moments. The Villain Arc was a highlight, and the animation was stunning.

And hey, at least we got to see all our favorite characters again. Even if some of them spent a little too long in training.
So, how long was Season 5? Long enough to make me question my sanity, but short enough that I'm still eagerly awaiting Season 6. Bring on the chaos!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch the Endeavor Agency Arc trailer. Because apparently, I love torturing myself with hype.
