Let's Just Say It: I Actually Liked "Jay Street"

Hear me out! I know, I know. Some people thought it was... underwhelming. But I found it pretty enjoyable. Maybe I'm just easily amused?

The episode kicks off with Sophie trying to figure out her feelings for Jesse. He's the total package! Kind, funny, and dreamy. But maybe too soon?

Then there's Sid. He’s engaged to Hannah and managing the bar. He is always there for his friends.

Valentina and Charlie face a whole new world, getting used to living together. Their clashing lifestyles created the drama.

I'll say it. I adore Sid and Hannah. Yes, a long-distance relationship is not easy.

I think their commitment is really sweet. The episode highlight was the airport. The moment Hannah tells Sid about how much she appreciates him.

I think this episode show Sid and Hannah's dedication and hard work to make their relationship work. We can all learn a thing or two from them!

I loved seeing Sophie struggle with her feelings for Jesse. She doesn't want to ruin the friendship. She is scared of getting hurt.

Drew is a great guy, but let's be real. Jesse is the one. There are so many things Sophie and Jesse have in common.

Their chemistry is off the charts! I love their banter. It's just so much fun to watch them on screen together.

Valentina and Charlie struggle to adapt to a brand new world, living together. They need to learn how to make compromises for each other.

I can relate! Moving in with a partner is not easy at all. You have to accommodate to other people's habits and lifestyle.

The episode ends with Sophie making a decision about her relationship. And Sid and Hannah working through their long-distance relationship.

It all felt very real. The struggles of modern dating and relationships!

Maybe "Jay Street" wasn't the most action-packed episode. It also does not resolve a lot of issues.

But it felt relatable. The character's feelings felt authentic. This episode highlighted a normal couple dealing with relationship challenges.

So, yeah, I liked it! Don't judge me too harshly.
