Must Read
You NEED to defeat the Elite Four and become the Champion. Consider the Elite Four your final exam before becoming a Pokémon Master!
Once you’ve conquered the Elite Four, buckle up, because the REAL adventure is about to begin. Get ready for some post-game shenanigans!
Catching Palkia: The Master of Space
After becoming the Champion, head back to Celestic Town. This is where things get interesting, I promise!
Remember that old lady in the town who always seemed to know everything? Go find her, she'll point you in the right direction.

She'll direct you to Mt. Coronet, specifically the Summit. This is where you confronted Cyrus earlier in the game, but things have… changed.
Head inside and prepare to be amazed! You will find a portal, a shimmering tear in reality.
Step right in. Palkia, the master of space, will be waiting for you, ready for a battle of epic proportions!
Now, remember to save your game BEFORE you battle it. I cannot stress this enough, unless you enjoy re-fighting the Elite Four multiple times.

Catching Dialga: The Master of Time
This is where Platinum throws a curveball, my friend. This is what makes your version special!
To catch Dialga, you will need the Adamant Orb. Where to find it? Easy! Head back to the Spear Pillar summit in Mt. Coronet where you found Palkia.
At the very center you should be able to use HM Rock Climb. It should lead you to a pedestal that has the Adamant Orb.
With the Adamant Orb in hand, return to where you captured Palkia.

Now you will see Dialga. Prepare for another legendary battle.
As with Palkia, saving beforehand is your best friend. Also, take note of their move sets!
Important Tips for Legendary Captures!
Stock up on Ultra Balls. These are your bread and butter for capturing legendary Pokémon.
Bring a Pokémon that knows status-inflicting moves like Sleep or Paralysis. A sleeping or paralyzed Pokémon is far easier to catch.

Don't be afraid to use weaker moves to whittle down their HP slowly. The lower their HP, the higher the chance of catching them.
Be patient! Legendary Pokémon are notoriously difficult to catch. Don’t get discouraged if it takes multiple attempts.
Consider using a Master Ball if you are really having trouble. It's a guaranteed catch, but remember, you only get one per game (unless you're feeling lucky with the Mystery Gift!).
Good luck, and happy hunting! May your Ultra Balls fly true, and may your team be forever graced by the presence of these legendary titans!
