Suddenly, your partner wants to watch Euphoria in the bedroom. And little Timmy needs Looney Tunes on his tablet. Boom. You're booted.

This isn't just a "me" problem, right? It's a family problem. It's a "friends sharing an account" problem. It's a "sneaking in a stream at work" problem. (Don't judge, we've all been there.)

Let's be honest, who isn't sharing their HBO Max account? It's the streaming service equivalent of borrowing a cup of sugar from your neighbor. Except the sugar is dragons and the neighbor is a giant corporation.

Okay, okay, I get it. More devices might mean more cost for HBO Max. I'm not completely unreasonable.

Perhaps a tiered system? A "family plan" with more devices for a slightly higher price? I'd pay for that! I'd gladly throw a few extra bucks at Warner Bros. Discovery to avoid a streaming-induced meltdown in my household.

Until then, though, we're stuck with the three-device limit. Which means carefully scheduling our viewing habits. Or, you know, employing some creative workarounds. (Again, not advising anything.)
