Okay, let's be honest. We all know about Genghis Khan. Ruthless conqueror, right? Everyone says he was the worst. But hear me out.

Think of it as the world's most extreme road trip. No GPS, just a whole lot of horses and the will to keep going. "Ends of the earth? Challenge accepted!"

Seriously, he didn't just want the neighboring village. He wanted the WHOLE. ENCHILADA. And maybe the burrito next door, too.

Genghis Khan's boys eventually hit the ocean. Can you imagine their faces? "Okay, Dad said 'world domination.' Does that include...water?"

Maybe they considered building boats. Or, more likely, they just shrugged and conquered the people near the water. Close enough, right?

I like to think he would have tried to cross the oceans. He might have failed. But he would have tried.

The Undiscovered Lands

Of course, Genghis Khan didn't make it to the Americas. But picture this alternative history where he did. Aztec warriors facing Mongol hordes? Talk about a culture clash!

I bet he would have given it his best shot. No land was too distant. No sea was too wide, in his mind.

The world would probably look quite different. Terrifying? Maybe. Interesting? Absolutely.

But sometimes, I wonder if he was just incredibly curious. And had a very, very...intense way of satisfying his curiosity.

Maybe he just wanted to plant a flag on every beach. Or maybe he just didn't like borders.

So, here's my (possibly insane) take: Maybe Genghis Khan wasn't a monster. Maybe he was just…overly enthusiastic about travel.
