Game Of Thrones Season 6 Episode 6 Watch

Alright, let's talk Game of Thrones. Season 6. Episode 6. "Blood of My Blood." Remember that one?
Rewatching "Blood of My Blood": My Thoughts
I just rewatched it, and honestly? I have some… feelings. Maybe controversial ones.
Bran's Flashback Bonanza
Okay, Bran's visions. We get it. The past is important. But did we really need that montage?
Must Read
It felt like a "Greatest Hits" album, but with more screaming and less payoff. I was reaching for the fast-forward button.
Sam and Gilly: Library Shenanigans
Okay, the library in Oldtown is gorgeous. Gilly looked amazing in her new dress. A moment of calm before the storm.
But let's be real, Sam stealing the books was kind of predictable. Plus, his family is annoying. Can we move on?

The Tarly Family: Dinner from Hell
Speaking of annoying families...the Tarlys. Oof. Poor Sam. Can't a guy just enjoy a roasted chicken without his dad judging his life choices?
Randyll Tarly is the worst. Like, textbook terrible father. Major props to Gilly, though! She called him out.
That speech was epic. She defended Sam and spoke the truth. My girl is a queen.
King's Landing: Religious Zealots, Assemble!
The High Sparrow and his crew are still being... the High Sparrow and his crew. Manipulating the king and plotting.

Margaery playing along? Suspicious. I still wasn't sure if she was faking it.
Daenerys and Drogon: A Fiery Reunion
Dany's speech to the Dothraki? Powerful. "I will take what is mine. And I will take it with fire and blood." Chills. Actual chills.
And then Drogon shows up! Swooping in to save the day and be her majestic fire breathing steed.
It was a good moment. I'll admit, I fist-pumped a little. Sue me.

The Great Escape: Bye, Bye, Brynden
Meera and Bran are on the run. Benjen Stark showing up to save them was convenient, to say the least.
Did we really need another long lost Stark cousin to emerge? I was starting to feel a bit overwhelmed with family reunions.
My Unpopular Opinion?
Here's the thing: this episode felt… transitional. A lot of setup, not enough payoff.
It was a collection of plot threads being moved into place for later. Like setting up dominoes, but without the satisfying fall just yet.

While some of it was entertaining, some of it felt a little…meh. Maybe I'm just impatient.
Don't get me wrong, I love Game of Thrones. But "Blood of My Blood" isn't exactly a standout.
It's a solid episode, sure. But not one I’m rushing to rewatch anytime soon. Other than Gilly’s mic drop moment, of course.
Am I alone here? Or did anyone else feel the same way? Let me know in the comments. I'm ready for the debate!
