Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 2 English

Okay, let's talk Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 2. Remember that one? It dropped us right into the feels!
Seriously, it felt like they turned the drama dial up to eleven. I was grabbing for tissues, no shame.
Yuki's Corner: Prince or...?
Everyone swoons over Yuki Sohma, right? He's the perfect, princely figure. But sometimes, I think he's a bit... awkward?
Must Read
Don't get me wrong, I love him! But his internal monologues can be a tad much. Anyone else feel that?
Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm too used to chaotic characters.
Kyo's Angst: A Tangled Ball of Fur and Feelings
Then there's Kyo Sohma. Oh, Kyo. Bless his heart.
He's always angry and frustrated. Constantly yelling.

Honestly, sometimes I just want to give him a hug (from a safe distance, of course. You know, because of the whole turning-into-a-cat thing).
Tohru Honda: Sunshine and Sacrifices
And then we have Tohru Honda. She’s the heart of the show, no doubt about it. But...
Okay, unpopular opinion incoming! Sometimes her relentless optimism gets a little exhausting. I said it!
I adore her, truly. But sometimes I wish she'd just get mad for once. Just a little bit of justified rage, please?

Akito's Shadow: A Glimpse of Something Darker
This episode also gave us some hints about Akito Sohma. The mysterious head of the family.
And boy, was it creepy! Talk about unsettling vibes.
We only got a taste, but it was enough to send shivers down my spine. Clearly something is very wrong there.
The Bonds That Bind (And Sometimes Break)
This episode really highlighted the complicated relationships within the Sohma family. It's a tangled mess, to say the least!

You've got the destined rivalries, the hidden affections, and the crushing expectations. It's a recipe for drama overload.
I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I just want to yell at them all to go to therapy.
Unpopular Opinion Time (Again!)
Okay, here's another one: I think Hatori Sohma is severely underrated.
He's the stoic doctor with the tragic past. He's quiet, observant, and always there to pick up the pieces.

He deserves more love, people! More love for Hatori!
So, overall, Fruits Basket Season 2 Episode 2 was a rollercoaster of emotions. We got a glimpse of the characters' vulnerabilities and the darkness lurking beneath the surface.
It left me wanting more, which is exactly what a good episode should do. Even if I do disagree with how certain characters act, I still love them!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch it and cry all over again.
"Is it so wrong to hope for a little less drama in their lives? Just a little bit?"
