Four Hours At The Capitol Where To Watch

Okay, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Or, you know, the horned helmet guy. We're diving into that day at the Capitol.
Four hours. Seems like a lifetime, right? Especially if you spent it refreshing Twitter (don't worry, we've all been there).
So, Where Were You Watching?
The options were endless! It was like a choose-your-own-apocalypse adventure. Except, not really an adventure for anyone actually there.
Must Read
Cable News: The OG Experience
Ah, cable news. The classic. Remember sitting on the couch, glued to the screen? Someone yelling about something, somewhere?
You know the drill: dramatic music, talking heads, and a constant stream of "breaking news" banners. Fox News, CNN, MSNBC - pick your poison.
Unpopular opinion: sometimes the sheer drama was…entertaining. I said what I said.
Social Media: The Chaotic Playground
Then there was the wild west of social media! Twitter, Facebook, TikTok... It was a non-stop rollercoaster of takes and takes on takes.

Live streams, shaky camera footage, and enough opinions to make your head spin. Remember endless doomscrolling?
Let's be honest, a lot of us were probably refreshing every few seconds. Don't deny it!
Streaming Services: The Binge-Watching Approach
Missed it live? No problem! Streaming services swooped in like superheroes. Or, maybe, just reporters with good archives.
Documentaries, news specials, in-depth investigations... The perfect way to relive it all in glorious HD. With popcorn!

You could become a couch expert! Prepare to dominate the next family gathering. You're welcome.
YouTube: The Unfiltered Experience
YouTube offered a unique angle. Raw footage. Unedited streams. Citizen journalism at its finest (and sometimes, its worst).
From independent reporters to random folks with phones, you could see it all. The good, the bad, and the truly bizarre.
It was like being there... except, you know, safer and with the ability to pause and get snacks.

My Personal Confession
I watched it all. Every channel. Every platform. I was a one-person media conglomerate!
Okay, maybe not. But I definitely spent way too much time online that day. Guiltily, I'd say.
And hey, if you're reading this, you probably did too. We're all in this together. Mishaps included.
Let's Be Real
No matter where you watched, January 6th was a day that won’t soon be forgotten. A lot of us glued to some kind of digital device.

Whether you tuned in for the drama, the news, or just plain morbid curiosity, it was a shared experience. A weird, unsettling shared experience.
And look at us! We survived the endless takes and hot takes and are here to laugh… or at least grimace about it.
So, next time someone asks, "Where were you when...?", you can confidently answer: "Probably glued to a screen, just like everyone else."
Let’s all agree to never do that again, at least to that extend. Ok?
