Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 3 Full

Okay, people, let's talk Fear the Walking Dead. Specifically, Season 6, Episode 3: "Alaska." I know, I know. It’s been a while. But these things need time to percolate, right?
Honestly, I think it's time for me to speak my mind about this episode. Prepare yourselves, because I might have an unpopular opinion.
Remember "Alaska"?
The premise was simple: Althea (Al) and Dwight go scavenging. They need supplies, naturally. Zombie world problems, am I right?
Must Read
Their main target? A spooky-looking warehouse. Full of potential goodies and probably, you know, walkers. The usual.
My Hot Take
Here it comes... I didn't hate it. I'm saying it. Don't @ me.
Okay, maybe it wasn’t the best episode ever. But it also wasn't the worst! Hear me out before you grab your pitchforks.
I actually found the whole scavenging mission kind of... cozy? Is that weird? Maybe it's the apocalypse fatigue talking.

I mean, sure, there were zombies. And a super creepy taxidermied rat. But Dwight and Al were working together. Teamwork makes the dream work, even when the dream is surviving the undead.
The Isabelle of it All
Let's be real, the episode was all about Al trying to find Isabelle. Again. Always about Isabelle.
Do they have some kind of forbidden love? A workplace romance gone horribly wrong? The suspense is killing me! Or, you know, the zombies will.
I get it, Al's got a crush. But sometimes I just want her to focus on, like, finding some non-expired canned goods. Priorities, people!

Confessions of a Mild Fan
Okay, I'll admit something. I fast-forwarded through some parts. Especially the flashbacks.
Too much backstory can give me a headache. Especially when the present-day situation involves hungry undead and questionable warehouse hygiene.
Did we really need to see another flashback montage of Al pining for Isabelle? The answer, for me, is probably no.
I still have hope for these two. Love can blossom anywhere, even in a walker-infested wasteland. But maybe tone down the melodrama a notch?

Dwight's Growth
One thing I did appreciate was seeing Dwight continue to evolve. He's come a long way from being Negan's right-hand man.
He's actually...nice now? I almost don't recognize him. I like this Dwight! He's all supportive and understanding.
He gave Al some really good advice. You know, the kind of advice you'd give your friend who's obsessing over a long-distance relationship.
Good for you, Dwight! Keep being the voice of reason in this crazy zombie world.

Final Thoughts (Maybe)
So, "Alaska." Not a masterpiece. But not a disaster either.
I give it a solid "meh-plus." It kept me entertained-ish for an hour.
Maybe my expectations are just low at this point. Maybe I'm just happy to see characters I recognize not get eaten. Either way, I'm still watching. Don't judge me.
Now, let's all get ready for the next episode. Hopefully, it will be full of more exciting zombie kills and less angsty longing looks. But who am I kidding?
Until then, stay safe out there. And remember, always double-check your canned goods for expiration dates!
